Delegation visit April 2023

Fresno was lucky to welcome a delegation from our sister city of Châteauroux, led by its Mayor, Gil Averous. The visit gave the mayors of our two sister cities a chance to get to know each other along with our Fresno-Châteauroux Sister Cities International, city council representative, Annalisa Perea. We attended the Fresno City Council meeting where our 6 student ambassadors were honored by both, Mayor Dyer and Annalisa Perea.

We were proud to show our French visitors some of Fresno's best features. We spent an afternoon at Chaffee Zoo, toured the Forestiere Underground Gardens, spent a day exploring Yosemite National Park, and took them to the Clovis Rodeo where they could experience a true American tradition.
